Custom Glatt kosher Catering:

From matching menu choices to art, to the staging of hor d'oeuvres stations, our displays do not just serve form and function, but are quite entertaining as well.
At a recent event we had, in one room an incredible vegetarian sushi display, which we call “Maki River.” It included Zen-like fountains of sake for guests to help themselves. The next room had chicken and black bean taquitos, wontons with caviar spread, and a delicious hot coconut ginger soup, served in hallowed out red bell pepper. Upstairs, in a third area was a display of grape trees. Some grapes were chocolate and nut covered and others were candied and sesame covered. Among many butler passed hor d'oeuvres were lettuce cupped spring rolls served from up-lit bamboo trays that glowed throughout the dimmed setting. In the words of a guest the food displays were "elegantly excessive" and after describing the food, the client remarked that "one did not need to ingest anything else to get high on pleasure."

Custom
Lighting:
Now that the event is set with custom linens and beautiful flowers the event is now essentially decorated. The custom linens are on the tables, the stage is set, and the accessory items are in place. The final question is lighting.
"Do we leave the lights up, or do we dim them? If we dim them, how low can we adjust the lights to be softer before this entire exquisite decor just simply disappears?"
This is a dilemma many people have when planning an event. There is a solid solution and it is not as expensive as you might think. Custom lighting is the lipstick of the event. We can wash the area with soft, colorful lights. We use up-light structures to highlight stages, starlit foliage as trim, and pin spots on all of the tables, cakes, buffets and the dance floor.
We can project geometric or other shapes of light on walls, stages or dance floors. And unique candle designs always add a touch of artistic effect to the overall look of a stylish event. Tablecloths, overlays, runners and hand stitched napkins only begin the package.

Heshy Jay has spent years perfecting his art as a food stylist of extraordinary caliber. With a background in event design, custom gourmet catering, fashion, art and food science he brings more to the process than most in the field.
Heshy can call on a network of artists to assist in creating the right look for your project. The top food and beverage shooters, a nationally acclaimed scenic artist and backdrop painter, an award winning sculptor and model maker, potters, glass blowers, a blacksmith and culinary specialty stores can transfer virtually any idea you have uniquely onto film.
Heshy’s contacts include private growers with a wide variety of herbs, a multitude of fruit trees, perennials and edible flowers all used for ingredients and props on shoots. If you need pumpkins in July or blueberries in February, Heshy has the connection to farmers and growers who will ship items overnight.
His prep kitchen, equipment and styling kits contain everything necessary to guarantee a smooth and successful shoot. His years of experience ensure that any problem that may arise will be solved quickly and with ease. Heshy is the artist who can turn your product shot into a masterpiece. |
