From matching menu choices to art, to the staging of hor d'oeuvres stations, our displays do not just serve form and function, but are quite entertaining as well.
At a recent event we had, in one room an incredible vegetarian sushi display, which we call “Maki River.” It included Zen-like fountains of sake for guests to help themselves. The next room had chicken and black bean taquitos, wontons with caviar spread, and a delicious hot coconut ginger soup, served in hallowed out red bell pepper. Upstairs, in a third area was a display of grape trees. Some grapes were chocolate and nut covered and others were candied and sesame covered. Among many butler passed hor d'oeuvres were lettuce cupped spring rolls served from up-lit bamboo trays that glowed throughout the dimmed setting. In the words of a guest the food displays were "elegantly excessive" and after describing the food, the client remarked that "one did not need to ingest anything else to get high on pleasure."
